One of our favorite family vacations was a houseboat cruise on Lake Powell. The kids loved swimming and fishing the royal blue waters. And sleeping on the roof under the stars. We explored many coves and inlets with unique stone formations of brilliant orange hues. Lake Powell boasts the most shoreline of any lake in the western world! The earth colors against an intense blue sky are awesome. This painting takes me away to a stark but serene place of respite.
