Taro Fields Hanelai Valley Kauai This is unframed original oil painting. My photographer husband Dale composed this picture for me while we were vacationing in Hawaii on the island of Kauai. This is a favorite overview on the road from Princeville to Hanelei. Most of Kauai is still undeveloped with mountains, waterfalls taro fields and forests. It is called "the garden island"... very lush on the north, east and south sides of the island, yet with desert canyons on the west side!
